By Bernard Goldberg

Harperperennial Library 2002

If this book about liberal bias in the news industry had been written by Rush Limbaugh or Bill O’Reilly, it would have died quietly from inattention.  But Bernard Goldberg was an “insider” at what he described as a liberally biased network news organization.  He described his own political persuasions as essentially liberal, so this attack on liberal influence of news content comes from someone very intimately involved with the process.

This book should be read by everyone interested in the news and especially by everyone involved in its processing and dissemination.  And before conservatives gloat over Goldberg’s revelations that liberals have been caught with their hands in the ideological cookie jar, they should ingest the lessons and apply them to their own news presentations.
